Greetings all. It's nice to be part of such a lively and active
community. I just wanted to spread word about a game that's been
making my daily commute a lot less painful.

Arriving HD is a unique gravity puzzle game for the iPad developed by
Chlova in conjunction with TaskCity developers. The game revolves
around an unhatched dinosaur egg rolling around a single screen
trying to collect floating energy crystals. Don't worry, you won't be
playing for the plot. The way the player moves the egg around is by
drawing objects around the egg to push and guide our egg friend where
we want him to go. Anything you draw becomes a solid object, whether
it's a box, circle, line or just a doodle. The concept is deceptively
simple, but the game is designed to keep people of all ages
entertained and challenged, particularly the latter in some of the
harder levels.

A free demo was released called Arriving HD Lite. It packs quite a lot
of the game but is still missing a few premium features and levels.
The full game is only $2.99 and it boasts extra levels and more
features. Overall, this is a great time waster well suited for puzzle
genre fans who want something out of the ordinary.

So here's the score breakdown:

Graphics: Colorful, vibrant and simple. Some games require the Unreal
engine to look good, this isn't one of them. 4/5

Sound: Nothing special, but then again this is a physics puzzler so
that's to be expected. 3/5

Controls: The controls are perfectly responsive and will animate your
every desirable action. The only thing that needs improvement is the
guy behind the controls, as I'll be the first to admit. 5/5

Gameplay: Very addicting and challenging… until it gets to the later
levels. Then it becomes extremely challenging, even frustrating at
times. Still, there's always a level that you will be able to
complete. 4/5

Overall, a 4/5.

Se você conseguiu acessar o servidor da faculdade então o problema não é
configuração do celular. Fale com o pessoal do gerenciamento da rede
para solucionar seu problema.

[NGA Brasil] conexão

Boa tarde, tenho um aparelho nokia 5530 e estou com problemas para acessar a internet via wifi na faculdade. Consigo acessar em todos os lugares e somente na faculdade não está conectando. A mensagem que aparece é a seguinte: " Problemas na rede. Certifique-se que sua conexão está ativa e verifique os outros aplicativos que dependem desta conexão estão funcionando corretamente."

Ao tentar abrir uma página, já aparece a página da faculdade pedindo pra colocar o login e a senha, porém mesmo colocando não é possível conectar.

Eu gostaria de saber se o problema é lá ou no meu aparelho, e qual a orientação.

Desde já agradeço.

Olá Anderson.

Demorei um pouco porque estava pesquisando sobre esta suposta versão do
Symbian^3 para celulares anteriores a ele. Informo a você que não é um
firmware completo, é um complemento instalado no firmware já existente,
mas que faz modificações na memória flash do aparelho, tornando estas
modificações permanentes.

Não é um procedimento válido, e eu não aconselho de forma alguma a
fazê-la. Certamente você perderá a garantia do aparelho, o que é muito
ruim caso o procedimento gere problemas ou venha a dar errado.

Sendo um projeto específico, somente o produtor dele possui a
programação, e ele não fez nenhuma versão em outra língua.

Prezados Amigos da Lista,

Estou descobrindo os recursos do meu novo E71 e encontrei na página 34
do manual as informações de como gerenciar "diretórios de contatos".

Cliquei na opção Contatos e aparece as opções:
Registrar-se (criar conta)
e Entrar (Usand. cont. exist.)

Mas pelo que percebi esse registro exige uma conexão à Internet.

Alguém poderia me dar algumas dicas do que são esses "diretórios de
contatos"?

Onde eu posso encontrar mais explicações sobre este recurso?

[NGA Brasil] Symbian^3

Gurus,

Eu estava lendo sobre o Symbian^3 e sobre os novos aparelhos da Nokia
e vi que existia uma versão em espanhol de Symbian^3 para o X6, 5230,
5530 e 5800 feita pela Symbian Latina. Cheguei até a assistir videos
no You Tube mostrando um 5800 com esta versão instalada.

Eu queria saber se vocês sabem se é possível rodar o Symbian^3 nestes
celulares e se por ventura não existe uma versão em Português. (De
preferência para o 5530)

O Nokia Messaging só funciona, no momento da configuração, com a
internet por rede de celular. Não funciona por wi-fi.

Thanks for your help. By relocating my music files back to my laptop HD,
music successfully synched with my phone. My next project will be to export
my contacts list & calendar to the cloud ,"Zune.net". I may be contacting

Ah, that's the problem. Despite not giving you any warning when you told
the Zune software to monitor the memory card, Zune will not add contents of
"removable devices" (memory cards, USB sticks, optical disks, etc.) to the
Zune collection, only hard drives. (Ironically, removable USB hard drives
are fine, but removable USB flash drives aren't!)

You'll need to copy the "missing albums" back to a hard drive for Zune to
"see" them. Zune continually scans your media folders for changes, so once
you copy the files to a hard disk, Zune will be able to see them within a
few minutes.

I believe there's some type of Windows registry hack that will let you trick
Windows (and therefore Zune) into considering a removable drive as a hard
drive, but I've never tried it. (I remember reading about it on an Asus EEE
PC netbook forum years ago. I used to use my 4GB EEE to change media on my
kids' Zune players when traveling. That's when I discovered Zune ignored
flash memory. I used the SD card slot on the EEE with an 8GB SD card as the
D: drive and Zune wouldn't add anything on it to the Collection.)

Well, to be fair, Zune isn't "3rd party software." It's Microsoft media
management and sync software for Microsoft's Zune-based players, of which
Windows Phone 7 devices are. It's essentially MS' version of iTunes.

Has the Zune software "found" all of your albums? It taks anywhere from
a few minutes to a half-hour the first time, depending on the number you
have. Zune, by default only looks in the "standard" Windows music
andvideo folders (and their subfolders.)
Put the media anywhere else and Zune can't find it unless you tell it
where to look. (Which can be specified in the Zune settings.)

You were probably searching for an album Zune hadn't found yet, so it

No, in fact Zune will not sync Outlook data at all- just media. With WP7
all contacts and calendar data is synced over the air, either with an
Exchange server, GMail, or Live/Hotmail.

To sync with a PC, you must use Exchange ($$) or Live (free) as an
intermediary. I wrote up a how-to for a friend's website. It's available

But, in a nutshell, you need to setup the Outlook Connector for Hotmail
on your PC which will sync your PC to a Live/Hotmail account, and then
sync your phone with the same account.

That's the "Zune Social." Don't use it if you don't want to. It doesn't
affect the phone.

[NGA Brasil] Edição de contatos do Nokia no excel

Caro Jaldomir
Do meu Nokia E63, base NBU, extraí o arquivo .csv e depois o transformei em excel.
Daí eu inseri vários contatos e salvei o arquivo... Mas dá erro ao tentar fazer upload para o meu Nokia, via Nokia PC Suite ou via OVI Suite - é possivel fazer isso ? Tem algum outro modo de mandar os contatos no excel para o Nokia ?

Eu ia dizer que era parecido com o símbolo do bluetooth, e ai resolvi olhar o se o bluetooth estava ativado e.... tcharam realmente estava ativado.

Agora está tudo resolvido, mas confesso que foi um baita exercício de adivinhação e de pesquisa na internet.

Acho que esses símbolos deveria ser mais claros ou deveriam constar no manual do aparelho.

Olá,

Eu tenho um nokia E72 e está tudo funcionando tranquilo. A única coisa que está me deixando intrigado é com a tela inicial do aparelho, tem uns símbolos estranhos.

Algo parecido com um problema relatado por um colega aqui da lista, que tinha uma carta piscando na parte de baixo do telefone (Link do post)

No meu caso entre a palavra Menu e a hora tem três símbolos. Da esquerda pra direita: Uma sineta (que eu creio ser devido a eu ter um alarme agendado), uma seta apontando pra parte de cima do aparelho e uma coisa parecida com uma folha.

Já dei uma procurada no manual e não achei nada que fale disso, eu creio que isso deve indicar alguma coisa, mas eu não faço a menor idéia do que pode ser.

Alguém tem alguma idéia ou alguma sugestão do que isso pode significar?

Não há nada de especial na verdade. É um gravador de flash-eprom específico para celulares.

Quando o sistema do celular é apagado ou corrompido (o seu caso) a única forma de regravar o sistema é através de um aparelho especial, conectado diretamene à placa lógica (sem usar a USB). Se a assistência não tem esse aparelho, ela vai tentar fazer exatamente o que você faz em casa, que, é claro, não vai funcionar porque o celular neste estado não fornece acesso pela USB.

.... bem, sobre o problema já descrito, leio-o para uma loja de celular de um shopping aqui em Brasilia (ughhh!!!), e há 2 dias o "técnico" me diz que não conseguiu instalar o software que funciona com ele. A dúvida que fica é:
- Ele não consegui porque a loja não é uma autorizada Nokia ( a autoriza fica longe de casa)
ou
- Ele é tapado mesmo ?

É uma pena, mas infelizmente não tem solução, porque o sistema básico está corrompido dentro da memória do celular. É como se fosse um "computador sem sistema", ou seja, ele não faz nada.

.. é isso, travou no meio e ficou parado........ não adiantou fazer nada de nada de reset (hard, soft e etc.) ... a tela fica cinza escura, quando liga.... e só desliga depois tirando a bateria. Q. m !!!... Não há nenhum botão de reset interno no celular ?um tipo de F2 to Recovery ?

A atualização não terminou? Se não houve término da instalação do novo firmware, somente por assistência técnica.
