FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Release of SaveUs v. 1.00
Complete Device State Save (Backup) Utility for Windows-based Mobile Devices
Februrary 27, 2010
MobileTimes announces the release of its Backup/Restore Utility for
Windows-based Mobile Devices.
SaveUs allows you to create complete backups (device state save) of your
Mobile device with a click of a button. A byte for byte copy is constructed
and stored to a CF card. With SaveUs you can now use your Mobile device for
different environments (ie, Business, Private, Demos, etc.). All the
information stored in the individual device states is kept separate from one
another. In other words, you can use a single device for work activities
and/or private business.
For example, create a device state DEMO and install new programs in this
context. When you are done testing, you can safely delete the context and
load one of your standard device contexts. You don't need to worry about
de-installation or hunting down residual files that were not properly
removed during de-installation.
A Multi-Lingual User Interface to over 140 languages is available.
Requirements: SD card.
Support exists for Windows Mobile 5.0 & 6.x for the PocketPC/Professional
and SmartPhone/Standard platforms. Released as shareware.
Direct DownLoad All Platforms:

Any way to remove HTC's Sense "overlay" and just use the basic Windows 6.5
without too many implications?
The additional 'toys' that HTC provide aren't that user-friendly. If I
wanted iPhone features I would have lowered my standards and bought an
iPhone.

I would guess, like my AT&T Pure, another 6.5 HTC device, you just go into
the Today Control Panel and deselect Sense, and select Windows Default. On
mine I deselect TouchFlo3D, rather than Sense. Note that all the other old
today screen items are there as well. Select any of them and you get the old
Today screen back and can fill it up the way we used to.
